Introduction

Lucciano started playing drums at the age of 3 using trash cans. By the age of 5 he started taking lessons with Mr. Ranaldi from the Lawerence Welk Band. His passion for the drums propelled him into early recognition . Lucciano played in the high school jazz band and he was liked by all.. Infact ,he was so well liked, the school had a raiser built, especially for him , and it was engraved with his name on it. He signed his first record deal at the age of 14 and has continued to make records ever since. Lucciano was invited to play with Dan c. for Ben Corio which was a project filled with great musicians. Lucciano at a young age played with a band named Arrival who opened for BON JOVI at the Chatterbox. Lucciano wanted to move to L.A and see what could happen for him there, so at 17 he moved to hollywood, CA. He auditioned for a band called KIDD NASTY and was asked to join. The band toured heavily for the next four years in the states and Europe.He returned to build his first recording studio. He subsequently built 6 more studios and he worked there with SONY, WARNER BROTHERS, DREAM WORKS, IMAX, ETC. Lucciano has also worked with Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Ivan Ballen the founder of Disc Makers. Lucciano has recently played on material for Bob Kulick, Wendy Dio and has built 3 more recording studios. Lucciano and Neil Citron kept crossing paths at these sessions and decided to start a band together. The band is called Black Cat 6 and put out there first cd in october of 2019.They have just completed their 2nd cd and will be releasing it August 2020. 2022 Lucciano has been invited to play for an amazing project and the details will be announced later this year. In 2023 PSYCHO TWINZ released their new single [ POWER] an awesome song with some great players like Rude Sarzo, Jason Ebs Mary kryah, lucciano myself on drums .co -wrote with producer Bobby ferrari. who produced and wrote the material.

LUCCIANO THE DRUMMER

Here we go.... Lucciano started at the age of 3 playing the drums on trash cans. By the age of 5 Lucciano was taking drum lessons from Mr. Ranaldi who at the time was playing for the famous Lawrence Welk band. Lucciano career was headed in the right track from the start. In high school Lucciano was playing for the school jazz band and the school built a drum stand in the stands on the football field to play with the jazz and at half time.. the stand has his name engraved on it and is still there to date. Lucciano is the only one that has ever played the drums on that stand. Lucciano since the age of 5 has received many awards for his musical talent over the years as a young lad growing up. At the age of 14 there was a lot going on .. ok here we go... at the age of 14 Lucciano got his first record deal. He also got asked to play with Dan C. for Ben Corio, M.D at the time.. .. ALSO THAT YEAR PLAYED WITH A BAND CALLED ARRIVAL.. on the boardwalk in seaside heights new jersey .. warming up for Bon Jovi. The venue was the CHATTERBOX ...also were slippery when wet video was first filmed. A very exciting year. Too name a few bands in between the age of 14 & 17.. INSIDE OUT.. PREDITOR...ARRIVAL..JET... STICKY FINGERS. .. DRIVIT.. ROXXOFF. just name a few .. Lucciano was very much in demand.. At that time Lucciano decided to make a move to L.A.. and started doing session work in the L.A scene.. at the late 80s Lucciano tried out for a smokin rock band call KIDD NASTY and landed the gig. KIDD NASTY became Lucciano platform that shaped his drumming career. KIDD NASTY toured and played everywhere, the band has 4 albums out and was awesome building block that put Lucciano in demand all over.. on to the next life step.. building his first studio.. He then at the time built 6 major recording studios.. and was working full time...with people like Sony, warner brothers, dream works, Imax, systec, ego..x and a lot more,, David Geffen, Steven Spielberg, Ivin Ballen who was the founder of disc makers.. and many more.... Lucciano learned a lot from all these awesome people. Lucciano has played ,produced and built more studios at this time of his life. 2019 Lucciano signed on to play with BLACK CAT 6. NEIL CITRON and Lucciano were crossing paths in the studio playing on various projects together when they both decided to form BLACK CAT 6.. since then they have 2 albums done . Currently 2022 Lucciano is moving forward in an amazing project that will be out later this year with some very amazing artist. you can get a glimpse into his world.. 55 years playing the drums, Lucciano has done a lot of amazing things in his life.. but i tell you .. the man is as humble as it gets... kind and caring. stay tuned in on all that's happening in the drum world with LUCCIANO!!
